The Washington Crossing Park Association of New Jersey (WCPA) hosts occasional events to help raise funds for the Park that we love.
- Celebrate Earth Day, help Washington Crossing State Park and make some money for the Association! By participating in the Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Spaces' Clean Communities day on Saturday April 22nd you will help remove litter from the 5+ mile park perimeter and earn an $8 per hour credit to the WCPA. Hope to see you at the Hopewell Township Public Works building on Washington Crossing-Pennington Rd at 8 a.m.
- The Washington Crossing Park Association is planning a Revolutionary War Weekend on October
14-15 (Saturday and Sunday). In addition to an encampment of
an estimated 100-150 re-enactors and sutlers, we will have educational
programs each day that will include colonial life demonstrations, talks from historic
authors, information tables for area historical societies and sites, programs
at the Johnson Ferry House and the Nature Center, and other special programs
(e.g. creating a diorama, painting miniatures). A great weekend for families and kids.
